Okay, I know we are supposed to be reading The Vampire Diaries but I couldn't resist starting The Hunger Games. It was just sitting on my bookshelf all shiny and new so I cracked it open the other day and didn't put it down until today.
Wowowow, was it good! I read it in class, at the gym, even during commercial breaks of gossip girl! It was so different from most book I have read. It was slightly gruesome throughout most of it since the 'hunger games' are actually a bunch of teenage kids stuck in an arena and told to kill each other as the rest of the world watches for entertainment. I know, I know that sounds awful but it is actually an amazing story! At some points I felt my heart thumping in my chest. Now that's writing!
I just finished it this morning and I don't really know how I feel about the ending. I won't go into detail because I don't want to give it away but let's just say there will be more to come of the Hunger Games!

The Hunger Games sounds really good! Maybe we should read that too! I read the first chapter on line and it sounded interesting. I just finished the second book of The Vampire Diaries. It was pretty good. Really creepy and scary. The Fury was good with a surprise ending. The Dark Reunion was ok, I dont know how I feel about the ending. But I'm not gonna give anything away.....you'll have to read to find out!

ReplyDeleteI took your advise and read The Hunger Games. You were right! It's a really good book. It starts a little slow, but the rest is amazing. I see what you mean about the end, but I think its leaves waiting for the next book to see what happens! I know what I want to happen! If anyone has the chance to read this book....by all means....DO IT!
ReplyDeleteI have read The Hunger Games and it is really a good story! It starts a little slow but you get sucked into the story! I dont want to give away the ending but I think it makes look forward to a second book......I dont want to say anymore except if you can....read this book!
ReplyDeleteyes although not a Vampire book it looks like we can enjoy a really well written addictive new series!!! i loved this book and its so emotional its like survior meets gladiator for YA's!!! love it!
